COOSE DRAFT SALE
(Lots 97 – 108)
Here we have a handpicked selection of quality females from Coose put
forward for this year’s Simmental draft sale.
Coming straight from some of our top cow families within the herd and by
sires who need no introduction, there is a range of different types and ages
of heifers to suit everyone, all showing strong breed character and style.
From our January born calves, who offer the opportunity to bring out a
show heifer next year, to our maiden heifers who are ready to breed. All
heifers are scanned correct and right for breeding. The cattle come from a
high health status herd and are eligible for export.
A genuine, powerful bunch of females with the potential to make excellent
cows and a great addition to any herd. We can’t wait to see what’s in the
future for these girls.
Photos and Videos available on our Facebook page COOSE LIVESTOCK.
Thanking everyone for viewing our heifers and wishing all customers the
best of luck and enjoyment with their purchases.
The Tuohy Family.
CLONAGH FOUNDATION FEMALES:
(Lots 109 to 123)
We are incredibly proud to present these 15 “FOUNDATION FEMALES” for
sale on the 24th October 2026 in Roscommon Mart. Each of these females go
back to the three foundation families in the herd; Clough Sandra, Clonaslee
Wanda and Seabank Rosebud all still making their mark almost 40 years
later. We have no doubt that each of these heifers would make an impact on
any herd either as a foundation female, a new family line or a stylish addition
to next years show team. We have retained one autumn heifer to preserve a
family line and two very young spring heifers for the same reason other than
that you are being offered the cream of the crop!
Our line up is backed by generations of the most influential sires we have
been lucky enough to have owned leading to what is now the modern
Simmental we have today! From a bull called Ballybane Edward purchased
in the 90’s to the latest purchase of Coltfield Murry each has ticked a box
for the herd. There could be a page written for each of them but Banwy
